Each puzzle shows a target number and an equation with blank slots. Tap or drag the number tiles into the blanks so the equation equals the target. Use each number once. Real math rules apply: multiplication and division are worked out before addition and subtraction. A quick intro in the app shows you the first time you open it.

Daily: five puzzles and four minutes, the same for everyone on a date. You get one try a day. Finish it to keep your streak, earn coins and see where you rank on today's leaderboard.

Battle: race your friends on the same puzzles for 2 minutes. Most solved wins.

Classic: solve as many puzzles as you can before the clock runs out. Pick a level from Novice to Genius.

Time Attack: ten puzzles against the clock.

Open the Battle tab, tap Create a battle and pick a starting level. You play first, straight away. Then tap Invite friends to send the code or link by text, WhatsApp or any app.

Your friends enter the code on the Battle tab, or open the link. They can also join in a web browser at play.reversemathpuzzle.com. Everyone gets the same puzzles in the same order, getting harder as you go, and 2 minutes on the clock. The clock never pauses. Each player gets one try per battle, and a battle stays open for 7 days. You can turn on alerts to hear when someone beats you, and ask for a rematch from the results.

Battles can only be created in the app. The browser can join them.

The Daily goes from Novice up to Expert across its five puzzles. In battles, the puzzles get harder as you go.

In timed games (Classic, Time Attack, Daily and battles) a wrong answer takes a few seconds off the clock, so think before you tap. Undo is free: place a number, and if it isn't right, undo it.

You earn coins by finishing the Daily, keeping your streak and watching optional rewarded ads. In practice games (Classic and Time Attack) you can spend coins on a Hint, a Skip or +30 seconds. The Daily and battles have no hints or skips, so everyone starts equal. You can also buy coin packs in the Shop, on the Me tab.

Finish the Daily each day, either by answering all five puzzles or by playing until time runs out. If you quit the Daily, it ends with no result and no streak for that day. Missing a day resets your streak. A daily reminder can help: it comes from the app, and you control it in your phone's notification settings.

No account or sign-up is needed. The app gives you a fun player name, which you can change. To delete your profile and its game data, go to Settings → Delete my profile in the app, or see how to delete your data.

Classic and Time Attack work without a connection. The Daily and battles use the internet to send your result and show the leaderboard and battle boards. If you finish a Daily with no connection, the app keeps your result and sends it when you are back online. Ads and purchases also need a connection.

Yes. Today's Daily and the Daily leaderboard are at play.reversemathpuzzle.com, and you can join a friend's battle there with their code. There are no coins on the web, and you can't create battles there.

Open the Me tab, then the Shop, and choose Remove ads. This is a one-time purchase that removes the banner and full-screen ads, and the “Double with an ad” offer on result screens.

Go to Settings → Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you used for the purchase. If the issue persists, contact us.

The fastest way to report a bug is from inside the app: go to Settings → Send feedback. It opens an email to us with your app version and platform filled in.

If you can't open the app at all, email support@reversemathpuzzle.com with your device model and OS version.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not directly by us. For iOS, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Android, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, find the order and tap Request a refund. For anything else, email us at support@reversemathpuzzle.com.
