Each puzzle shows you a target number and a partially filled equation with blank slots. Your job is to tap or drag number tiles into the blanks so that the equation equals the target. Remember: multiplication and division are calculated before addition and subtraction (standard order of operations), and each tile can only be used once.
Classic Mode — Solve as many puzzles as possible in 3 minutes. Earn points for each correct answer.
Challenge Mode — Complete a set of 10 puzzles as quickly as you can. Use power-ups strategically.
Daily Challenge — One fresh puzzle every day. Complete it to maintain your daily streak and earn coin rewards.
There are four difficulty levels:
🌱 Novice — Simple equations to learn the basics
📚 Seasoned — Moderate equations for daily practice
⚡ Expert — Complex equations for fast thinkers
🧠 Genius — Maximum difficulty, hardcore mode
The Daily Challenge uses the Seasoned difficulty by default.
Coins are earned by completing Classic and Challenge Mode games, maintaining daily streaks, and watching optional rewarded ads. Coins are spent on power-ups during gameplay: Hint (reveals one correct placement), Skip (skips a puzzle), Undo (undoes your last move), and Add Time (adds 30 seconds in Classic Mode). You can also purchase coin packs from the Coin Store in the app.
Unfortunately, streaks cannot be manually restored once lost. A streak resets if you miss a day's Daily Challenge. To avoid losing your streak, enable the daily reminder notification in Settings — it will alert you each day so you don't forget to play.
Tap the Coin Store icon in the main menu, then select Remove Ads. This is a one-time purchase that permanently removes all advertisements from the app. If you've already purchased it and ads are showing, tap Restore Purchases in Settings to restore your purchase.
Go to Settings → Restore Purchases. This will re-link your purchase to the app. Make sure you're signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you used when you made the purchase. If the issue persists, contact us.
No — Reverse Math Puzzle is fully playable offline. All game data is stored locally on your device. An internet connection is only used for optional features like rewarded ads, in-app purchases, and optional analytics. The Daily Challenge is pre-generated and works offline too.
The fastest way to report a bug is directly from inside the app — shake your device at any point to open the bug report screen. You can also go to Settings → Submit Feedback from the main menu. Both methods attach helpful context automatically.
If you can't open the app at all, email support@reversemathpuzzle.com with your device model and OS version and we'll get back to you quickly.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not directly by us. For iOS, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Android, open Google Play → My orders → Request a refund. If you need additional assistance, email us at support@reversemathpuzzle.com.
× and ÷ are calculated before + and −. Plan your placement with the final result in mind, not left-to-right.
Don't spend hints on easy puzzles. Hold them for Expert or Genius difficulty when you're really stuck.
Do the Daily Challenge before anything else — it's only available for 24 hours and keeps your streak alive.
Not sure? Place a number and see if the equation gets closer. If not, undo immediately and try another tile.
